Casa Corazon, located near 16th street and Cambridge in Phoenix, offers a gourmet Mexican dining experience that features fresh and local ingredients. Recently, Casa Corazon has become a must-try place due to being listed as one of only four Arizona restaurants in Yelp’s list of Top 100 Places to Eat around the country in 2021.

According to Yelp, the list honors restaurants across the U.S. that rank so highly in the Yelp community’s opinion that they earned the status of “must try” this year. Yelp analyzed ratings, reviews, and customer submissions to come up with the top 100. 

Casa Corazon, which opened in 2018, features gourmet dishes inspired by the cuisine of Southern Mexico. Using high-quality ingredients, Casa Corazon makes from-scratch plates that are sure to satisfy any Mexican food craving. 

What makes Casa Corazon stand out from the crowd is their unique take on Mexican staples such as their breakfast omelet made with hibiscus flower and a quesadilla with lobster.

Casa Corazon’s house specialty are Enchiladas. These are not your typical run-of-the-mill enchiladas that are served at most “-Bertos” and Mexican restaurants around the Valley. Casa Corazon’s are made with homemade corn tortillas and feature their signature Corazon beet sauce with the meat options of beef, chicken, or Oaxacan cheese. The enchilada chile beet sauce creates a rich deep and earthy flavor that any food lover must try at least once.

Another must-try item is the Chile en Nogada which consists of a Poblano pepper stuffed with pork meat or shrimp, topped with a delectable almond blonde sauce.
