For the first time, Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlán and Mariachi Nuevo Tecalitlán will perform together on one stage, celebrating the rich traditions of Mexican music. Founded in 1897, Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlán is widely recognized as one of the most influential mariachi groups in history, having performed alongside legendary artists such as Pedro Infante, Vicente Fernández, and Luis Miguel. Mariachi Nuevo Tecalitlán has also built an impressive legacy since its founding in the 1960s, earning acclaim for its award-winning recordings and dedication to preserving mariachi music while introducing it to new audiences.
