Maricopa County Department of Public Health’s latest data shows the number of local COVID-19 hospitalizations is flattening. This is likely attributed to the protective measures individuals and the community are taking to slow the spread of disease and is a signal to the community to keep doing what we are doing. Substantial increase in COVID-19 testing statewide over the last month.
Data from the Arizona Department of Health Services indicates 44,096 tests were performed in the week leading up to April 12 (compared with less than 10,000 per week in early March).
