Rising star Camila Fernández is taking the stage at the Chandler Center for the Arts this May. Known for honoring the legacy of mariachi while shaping a style uniquely her own, Fernández’s performance promises an evening filled with emotion, heritage, and timeless sound.
Born in Guadalajara, Mexico—widely recognized as the birthplace of mariachi—Camila grew up surrounded by music. She comes from one of the most iconic families in Mexican music history as the daughter of Alejandro Fernández and granddaughter of legendary singer Vicente Fernández. Rather than simply follow in their footsteps, Camila has worked to build her own artistic identity while proudly carrying forward the traditions that shaped her.
