As part of a program with the US Department of Agriculture, Arizona SNAP recipients are now able to order groceries online on Amazon as part of its participation in the USDA SNAP Online Purchasing Pilot.
Through this program, individuals and families in Arizona can use their SNAP EBT cards to purchase groceries online at Amazon and other participating retailers and have them delivered directly to their door. Arizona joins nine other states participating in the program, including Alabama, California, Florida, Iowa, Kentucky, Nebraska, New York, Oregon and Washington, with more states expected to follow.
With online acceptance of SNAP, Amazon’s selection, competitive pricing, and home delivery can improve the grocery shopping experience for SNAP participants, while also helping them extend their benefits further. Access to Amazon’s grocery selection, as well as Amazon Fresh and Pantry, increases access for low-income residents by adding a new SNAP redemption option and the convenience of home delivery.
Amazon is proud to continue participating in the USDA SNAP Online Purchasing Pilot and remains committed to making food accessible through online grocery shopping, offering all customers convenience, time savings, and low prices. For more information, please refer to amazon.com/snap.
