Holiday traditions meet mariachi music this December when Mariachi Sol de México de José Hernández returns to Scottsdale for their Merry-achi Christmas. Led by mariachi master José Hernández, the festive concert combines holiday favorites with traditional mariachi and creative arrangements. Audiences can expect selections inspired by Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker Suite, “The Christmas Song,” music from the Latin GRAMMY-nominated album Romances Eternos, and a finale featuring the holiday favorite “Feliz Navidad.”
With Merry-achi Christmas, the ensemble continues its tradition of honoring mariachi’s roots while giving audiences a fresh and festive take on holiday music.
