The Latin singer, songwriter, and actress, Leslie Grace has given fans a first look at the Batgirl suit she will be wearing from her upcoming DC Comics film.
The actress posted to her social media an image of herself in the new suit captioned:
“I use their expectations against them. That will be their weakness. Not mine. Let them all underestimate me. And when their guard is down, and their pride is rising, let me kick their butts.”
Barbara Gordon fans will instantly recognize the blue-and-yellow suit with the full cowl as inspired by Bab’s beloved “Batgirl of Burnside” look, which still stands as one of her most memorable suits of all time. Also note that Grace’s Batgirl, just like Barbara in the comics, has red hair.
The suit has a deeper indigo tone and gold cape, with a weapon belt and Batgirl emblem on the chest.
Batgirl hits HBO Max in 2022 and will also star Michael Keaton as Bruce Wayne/Batman, J.K. Simmons as the Commissioner James Gordon, and Brendan Fraser as Garfield Lynns/Firefly.
