Edgar Olivo Leads Arizona Latinos To Success

The business world is not easy to navigate. But some people have a special gift on how to do business, and there are other people, like Edgar, who put that skill to help others succeed.

A native of Phoenix, Arizona, Olivo’s family immigrated from Zacatecas, Mexico, in the 1980s. He is the eldest of 11 siblings and an avid defender of economic development, a sustainable environment, diversity, equity, and inclusion. He serves as a board member in several organizations working on these essential matters.

Through innovative ideas, leadership programs, and even a weekly social media show called «Let’s Talk Business with Edgar Olivo,» produced alongside Univision Arizona, Olivo helps Latino professionals prosper in their careers.

He has received many accolades, including the Key to the City of Phoenix from former Mayor Greg Stanton, Hispanic Business Salute from Telemundo Arizona and the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Community Leader Award from the East Valley Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and a recognition by the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce during their Annual National Convention.

Edgar is the true embodiment of a successful immigrant story and the importance of giving back to our community.
