The French fry festival is finally back! On Saturday, April 20, 2024, the world’s favorite side dish takes center stage once again at the 3rd FRIED, French Fry & Music Festival, at Margaret T. Hance Park in Downtown Phoenix.

FRIED presents some of the most creative versions of gourmet French fries and collects them all into one beautiful day in a city park. Smaller sample sizes will be available for attendees who want to try as many vendors as possible, while larger portions for sharing (or not sharing) will be available as well.

The participating food vendors will come from all culinary backgrounds. French fry tacos, pizza fries, kimchi fries, lobster fries, cheesesteak fries – they’re all possible. Expect Cali burritos with fries, lots of carne asada fries, and dipping sauces galore.

This event is also a local music festival. While the music line-up is still being finalized for two stages, the 2022 lineup was as diverse as the French fry offerings. Highlights included Las Calakas, The Limit Club, Vid Nelson, The Deadbeat Cousins, and DJs from Recordbar Radio.

Also part of the festivities: lawn games from AZ Board Source, bars with local craft beer, local market vendors, and other culinary offerings like burgers, desserts, and of course, more fried foods. Attendees can park nearby and explore Downtown Phoenix, ride bikes to the festival, or take a rideshare.

This festival is produced by PHX Fest, calorie-loving creators of the Phoenix Pizza Festival and the TACO FEST. The event benefits Downtown Phoenix Inc., a community group that works to make Downtown Phoenix a vibrant, inclusive, world-class city.
